Well known Broadway crime writer Sidney Bruhl feels his fame is fading away, especially since his last play wasn’t a great success. Everything changes when one of his students seeks his approval and sends him a copy of his own script. Bruhl sees that the young writer has given him a masterpiece that would bring back his glory days. First he makes sure noone else knows about the script and then plans the plot to murder the young writer and take away the script.

Tense comedy / drama based on a stage play, where few people play cat-and-mouse game with murder motif. Very good cast, very good script, great enetertainment.
