Aircraft engineer Kyle Pratt returns from her contract in Berlin together with her daughter. They board the passenger aircraft as one of the first, while the coffin with Kyle’s husband is being loaded into the cargo bay. He fell off the roof of the house they lived in and died from the wounds. Kyle takes his body to be bury in their hometown and tries to keep her young daughter Julia away from the pain of losing her father. Soon after take-off Kyle and Julia fall asleep in the seats at the back of the plane, but when Kyle wakes up she can’t find her daughter anywhere. She looks for her in the passenger areas, but there seems to be no sign of her child. She alarms the crew and asks them to help her look for Julia, even the air marshal volunteers to help, but the search is fruitless. Trying to calm Kyle down the pilot agrees that crew should check the areas not accessible for the passengers, but again they find nothing. The pilot begins to doubt if Kyle is sane since no one of the crew has ever seen the girl, there is no Julie Pratt on the passenger manifest, even other passengers did not notice if Kyle was alone or with daughter. Since Kyle becomes increasingly agressive pilot decides to place her under guard of air marshal.
Interesting mystery movie about disappearance of young girl in confined space of passenger airplane and the desperation of mother to find out what happened... or if she has lost her mind. Overall quite good production that keeps the viewers involved from beginning until the end, but the ending (without revealing any spoilers) has some loop-holes and parts of the story are bit far-fetched.
