Group of robbers enters one of the Manhattan bank taking as hostages all the people inside. They lock up the door and start the strange game with the police. From the beginning it seems that they have planned all the details of the heist with a lot of care. Police detectives start the siege of the bank, but as some of the hostages are released they start to suspect that it’s gonna be a long night. Especially since powerful financial magnate seems to be more interested in the case that he should be.
One of the best bank heist movies - full of surprising elements, great plot and great cast - nothing in the Inside Man was left to the chance, it is well prepared and well executed project.
