Inspector Gregory of Scotland Yard starts the investigation in highly mysterious case - at first it seemed that someone was moving a dead body in the Engendler morgue, but the reports about similiar cases from places far from each other leads the investigators to the only possible explanation. And that explanation is at the same time the only impossible solution - that the dead bodies were actually coming back to life for some time. Gregory starts to seek help from eccentric Doctor Sciss, but also suspect Sciss himself of having something to do with the paranormal events.

Gloomy and dark TV movie, based on short story from legendary Stanislaw Lem. This is one of the best mystery movies ever - the tension and spooky atmosphere are creeping upon you with each scene. Brilliant, but not well known masterpiece.
