Tell No One 2001 American mystery movie review
During a trip to a lake resort David Beck and his wife Elizabeth celebrate their anniversary. During the night they are attacked by unknown assailants - David is heavily wounded, while his wife is abducted. While her body was never found, David have lost any hope to see her alive again. Eight years later he still can’t get over his wife’s death, but an e-mail from anonymous sender changes his life. On an attached video from a street camera he sees his wife alive and well. He starts the investigation on his own and reveals some disturbing information about his wife.
Great mystery book by Harlan Coben using what has later become his trademark - someone who is presumed dead, suddenly turns out only disappeared and for a good reason. In Tell No One the idea was fresh and quite original, even though in years to come he overused that trick. Nevertheless, Tell No One is a very well written book, one of those that you just can’t stop reading until you get to the end.
