JFK assassination

Mafia conspiracy

President Kennedy together with his brother Robert (who was appointed Attorney General) were trying to wipe-out the mafia in United States, which must have irritate a lot of mobsters that were losing money because of their activity. That is the basis of mafia conspiracy theory.

Facts that are supporting the theory:

  • mafia had the motive to kill Kennedys (RFK was also assassinated), although it is doubtful that JFK could have threaten the existence of mafia,
  • mafia did have access to assassins that could have do the job, also had the ways to get rid of them afterwards.

Facts that oppose the theory:

  • in theory mafia could have had the influence on security around Kennedy’s visit to Dallas (like changing the route), although it is highly doubtful,
  • even if mafia could have influenced the security of presidential visit it is even more doubtful that they could have had the influence on people investigating the assassination,
  • the killing of Kennedys would not guarantee that their policy against mafia would be dropped, on the contrary - the link between assassination and mafia could have put them in the spotlight of all security services.
