Sudden storm traps ten complete strangers in a remote motel somewhere in Nevada. Among them are actress and her driver, policeman escorting serial killer, newlywed couple, a prostitute and family with mute 9-year-old son. In parallel story Malcolm Rivers, convicted of vicious murders, is awaiting another hearing before he will be sent to electric chair. Dr Malick found his diary and is convinced that he has the answer to why Rivers killed. Meanwhile in motel the strangers try to get used to idea they will spend some time there since the roads have been flooded. Everything changes when they discover that there is a killer among them.
Mystery thriller that takes place in secluded motel, where someone is killing the guests and they have to find which one of them is the murderer. The atmosphere is dark, plot is well written and cast keeps it involving until the end.
