Missing telemetry tapes
One of the basic proofs for the conspiracy theories that the moon landing was a hoax are the missing telemetry tapes from Apollo 11. In order to provide the live video from the moment of moonwalk the Apollo 11 lander carried a slow-scan television (SSTV) camera. The material from that camera was converted to the television format, so people could watch it, but all the tapes that were recorded from Apollo 11 are missing. NASA admitted that they just can’t locate any of 45 tapes, which started the conspiracy theory that they actually never existed since the landing was filmed on Earth.
