Smolensk air crash
Ground operators conspiracy
The theory that ground operators (under orders from Moscow) let the plane make approach knowing that it will crash.
Facts that are supporting the theory:
- Smolensk airport is a Russian military airport,
- there was a line of contact between Russian officials about the landing, but without any orders in them,
- ground operators didn’t inform the pilots that they were too low.
Facts that oppose the theory:
- Russians did not and could not order the pilots to land, pilots were the ones who made the decision,
- dialogues between pilots do not show any sign of hesitation if they should try the approach,
- Russians didn’t gain anything from the crash (although Jaroslaw Kaczynski believes that Russians were afraid of his brother and his politics against Russia).
