Hijacked planes

According to official records in the morning of September 11, 2001, 19 hijackers took control of four commercial airliners after take-offs from Boston, New Jersey and Washington D.C.

 - Hijacked planes



The four flights were:
- American Airlines Flight 11 from Boston to Los Angeles, took off at 7:59 am with 11 crew and 85 passengers (including 5 hijackers). The hijackers flew the plane into the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46 am.
- United Airlines Flight 175 from Boston to Los Angeles, took off at 8:14 am 9 crew and 56 passengers (including 5 hijackers). The hijackers flew the plane into the South Tower of the World Trade Center at 9:03 am.
- American Airlines Flight 77 from Washington to Los Angeles, took off at 8:20 am with 6 crew and 58 passengers (including 5 hijackers). The hijackers flew the plane into the Pentagon at 9:37 am.
- United Airlines Flight 93 from New Jersey to San Francisco, took off at 8:42 am with 7 crew and 37 passengers (including 4 hijackers). As passengers attempted to subdue the hijackers, the aircraft crashed into the ground near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, at 10:03 am.
