Phoenix Lights
The Phoenix Lights was a series of sightings of unidentified flying object or objects observed over Arizona and Nevada in the United States and Sonora in Mexico on Thursday, March 13, 1997.
That night thousands of people observed bright lights hanging in the air formed in line or slightly curved line. They were observed for over 2 hours hanging still in the air and keeping the same formation.
There was an "official" explanation that it was set of tests of illumination flares dropped from military plane, which is simply embarrassing. First of all flares descent in the air, they don’t tend to just hover. Also the lights were much brighter than military flares. Not to mention that air force usually are testing those things in remote areas and not over dense city areas.
