In 1888 series of murders puts the district of Whitechapel in the attention of the whole country. A unknown serial killer nicknamed Jack the Ripper terrorises the London by murdering prostitutes. Police is still a new formation not prepared to deal with such case. Detective Frederick Abberline is assigned to track down the killer and to keep the outraged public calm.
A masterpiece of crime drama - wonderful cast, great plot based on actual events rather than legends around the case. Despite being miniseries it keeps the viewers on the edge of the seat. A must seen!
