In 1921 London Florence Cathcart is famous psychic hoax exposer. She is offered a new challenge - in boarding school in Cumbria a ghost of a child was seen on several occassions and the headmaster invites her to find the solution. Cathcart is reluctant, but agrees to visit the school, but after arrival strange events begin to undermine her faith in the science.
British mystery movie set in a typical surrounding for spooky stories - old fashioned boarding school, where mysterious figure appears in the corridors. Although not very original the story is well written and keeps the viewers involved until the end.
