Pearl Harbor attack

Japanese space to live

In 1936 the Japan was making an industrial progress leaving behind the times of the samurai and simple life. The radicals in the army saw the invasion on China a chance to expend the Japanese space to live. First they took the district of Manchuria and started to extract the resources they so desperately needed.

 - Japanese space to live

Chinese army could not match the fast attacking Japanese army and soon large part of China was under control of Japan. But soon it still was not enough and the Japanese generals were looking at Philippines and Indonesia as sources of oil and other sources, but the diplomatic steps were going nowhere - United States and United Kingdom were not prepared to allow Japanese to extend their territory any further.

So, the Japanese have prepared another plan, rather simple plan - make sudden strike, deploy the troops on all the vital areas and later try to negotiate the cease fire as long as they are gonna keep the territory they have just invaded. After all they did invade China and no one tried to stop them, so what can go wrong?
