Disappearance of Flight MH 370

The crew escapes

Theory based on the early information, was holding the water for some time, but new evidence put that theory to rest.

Facts that are supporting the theory:

  • according to some sources Captain Shah had family problems and before taking the Flight 370, he moved out of his house, although there are contradictory reports about it,
  • according to some sources analysis of flight simulator from Captain Shah’s computer did contained a scenario with flying on a similar course to the Flight MH 370 (westwards towards Sumatra, along the coast and later due south),
  • the point in which the original route was abandoned was very specifically chosen - after leaving the Kuala Lumpur air traffic control area and before entering the Ho Chi Minh City area, which would postpone the search for the plane - this requires a lot of knowledge about the air traffic control procedures, Captain Shah had that knowledge and experience,
  • to switch off the transponder requires time and knowledge, no amateur could have done that,
  • the plane changed the altitude after the change of course, which suggest a planned operation,
  • if the data about southern flight path are true it would mean that Flight 370 was in fact flying along the typical flight corridor in that area, and that also suggest planned operation and involvement of someone, who knows the location of the corridor.

Facts that oppose the theory:

  • there are only circumstantial evidence pointing at the crew involvement (rumours and interpretations of the facts),
  • change of the altitude and course might also suggest an emergency situation (like decompression of the cabin),
  • police checked the background of all crew members and found no evidence that would suggest any reasons behind such activity as kidnapping the plane.
