JFK assassination

Dealey Plaza

President Kennedy visit in Dallas was as usual planned by Secret Service in every tiny detail, especially since in Texas many people were angry at Kennedy for his views on racial segregation. Everything was going just as usual: the arrival at the airport, the route downtown, the crowds around the streets. But then something unusual happened - instead of keeping the route straight and keeping the safe speed the column of cars took the turn 90 degrees to the right into Houston Street, then over 90 degrees to the left into Elm Street and enters the district of Dealey Plaza. On the Elm Street the shots rang out.

According to audio material 3 shots were fired, but the quality of the material still leaves space for speculation whether two shots didn’t came up at the same time living only one distinct sound.

President Kennedy was shot in the back and in the head. Despite taking him instantly to the hospital the wound to the head proved fatal.
