JFK assassination

The grassy knoll

Since Zapruder film clearly shown that Kennedy could have been shot from the front, which obviously contradicted the official version that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone gunman and he fire his shots from the building of Book Depository, the conspiracy theory of the grassy knoll has started.

 - The grassy knoll

Next to the Book Depository there was a grassy knoll on top of which there was quite high and dense wooden fence - the perfect spot for the shooter - the target was close enough to shoot even without sniper rifle, fence would cover the shooter while he was preparing the rifle, give the cover while aiming and finally let the shooter leave the spot without coming across the crowd. Behind the fence on grassy knoll there was a car park and railroad overpass - the escape wouldn’t be that hard.

Everything seems perfectly simple, but there is only one weak point in the grassy knoll theory - none of known material (photos or films) have caught the knoll itself at the moment of assassination, so there is no strong evidence to support the theory. Of course there are witnesses, who are convinced that they’ve heard the shots being fired from that direction, and Zapruder film would support their impressions, but still it isn’t evidence.
