Glenn Miller disappearance

Accident theory

Basic theory about the disappearance is that it was simple aerial accident due to poor weather.

Facts that are supporting the theory:

  • the weather was rather poor on that day,
  • if the plane have crashed over English Channel it would be hard to find the evidence (especially during the war),
  • Glenn Miller wasn’t involved in any political nor military activities, so not many people would gain anything on his death.

Facts that oppose the theory:

  • there was no distract call from the plane, so either the accident was sudden or there was no accident.
